Lockdown is a curated performance art happening that features continuous performances in empty rooms located on the second floor of the former Hamtramck Police Station, now the home the HatchArt Collective.

Performances include multi-media installation pieces, modern dance, spoken word, creative sounds and more.

The night features the work of Alice Schneider, Sarah Peters, Megan K. Montgomery, Marianne Brass, Matt Kiroff, Andy Meyers, Emilia Javanica, Chanel Von Habsburg Lothringen, Amber Golden and many others.

Also on tap: improvised music by an ensemble that includes Kenn Thomas, Piotr Michalowski, Kurt Prisbe, James Cornish, and Kresge Fellow Joel Peterson.

$5 dollar donation requested. Proceeds go to securing winter heat for the HatchArt Collective.
