Park Shelton in Midtown sells over 110 units and first residents moving in
Even though this is typically a slow time for home sales in Michigan, sales are gaining momentum at The Park Shelton.
“Sales have really picked up over the last few weeks, which gives us continued belief that the Detroit market is still strong,” says Michael Martorelli, sales consultant for building on Woodward across from the Detroit Institute of Arts.
More than half of the 220 units have sold in less than a year, and the first 21 residents will be moving in this month.
Complete reconstruction of the interior of The Park Shelton started April of this year. All infrastructure and finishes are being fully redone and upgraded for the conversion of the old apartment building into fully finished luxury condos.
The twelve-story building will feature 220 revamped luxury condos, 23,000 square feet of commercial space, a fitness center, and a community rooftop sun room and meeting area. They are also building a 334-space parking structure with covered and secured access to the north of the building. A parking space will be included with every unit.
Construction of the entire project is expected to be complete in the next 12 to 15 months, with the parking structure anticipated to be finished after the first of the year.
