BodyPartChart partners with FatHead, moves to downtown

BodyPartChart is reinventing medical posters with the help of FatHead technology, prompting the start-up to move to downtown Detroit from Livonia.

"We're thrilled to be a part of the renaissance of Detroit," says Dr. Sam Gray, co-founder of BodyPartChart.

Gray, a chiropractor, adds that most of the medical charts in use in medical facilities across the country are decades old and overly technical. BodyPartChart's wall posters are current, make a better presentation and are more intelligible to patients.

"We thought the old medical posters weren't doing it anymore," Dr. Gray says. "Today's patient is more aware of their condition or the procedure."

The 1-year-old firm currently employs five people, and expects to hire another 5-10 over the next year. The company is currently speaking to potential customer both domestic and international in countries like Japan and Australia.
