Organization Gives Millions To Detroit Schools
An organization, the article reports, whose “mission is to improve the lives of children by improving their homes, schools and their neighborhoods through supporting activities during non-school hours” has been giving millions of dollars to improve Detroit schools.
“Under the leadership of President Carol Goss, with a $500 million endowment, Skillman has given $21 million of it away every year in grants to metro Detroit schools, agencies, and nonprofits mainly in the city of Detroit”, the article says.
