All the changes happening Downtown, namely, the reduction in graffiti, the striking riverfront buildings, the recent housing projects that is helping revive Downtown, and the fact that the city feels proud of itself, are not just visible to Detroiters, but also to Ann Lang, who is back to the city after seven years.

“Lang, 58, who headed Detroit’s New Center Council during the 1980s and ’90s, has been lured back to town to head the newly formed Detroit Downtown Partnership. Her appointment is the final step in the smart merger of two separate groups — Detroit Downtown Inc. and the Greater Downtown Partnership…” the article reports.
