It’s a reasonable walk from there to Comerica Park, home of the Tigers since 2000 and wonderful enough to blunt objections even from baseball-tradition-loving travel writers,” says Alan Solomon, Tribune staff reporter.
She also says, “Detroit is a cultural center, great sports town and creator of the Motown sound.”
