Movement 2008 in Photos: They Came, They Danced in Detroit

A gathering of the tribes that most resembles a Technicolor dreamscape soundtracked by waves of pulsating sound, Movement: Detroit’s Electronic Music Festival, has come to an end. We were there and bring you some of that crazy energy thanks to the expert lens work of Model D photographer Marvin Shaouni.

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

The teeming masses with blue and pink hair, angel wings and furry
boots; the closely cropped serious techno travelers dressed in variations of black and gray; the artists from techno hotspots in Berlin, Montreal, San Francisco and, of course, Detroit, who performed using all manner of hardware and software packed into Hart Plaza for a
crazy weekend of dancing and drifting to electronic music.

Model D Photographer Marvin Shaouni floated with angels and squirmed into DJ booths to come back with 19 vivid moments from this year’s three-day party.

Enjoy, ladies, gentlemen and dudes, enjoy.
