Want to celebrate Detroit-bred creativity and innovation? Then take some time to ponder the influential work of
celebrated Saarinen, whose works include the TWA Terminal at JFK Airport, Warren’s GM Tech Center, the
eponymous tulip chair and the Gateway Arch in St. Louis.
A national touring exhibit of Eero Saarinen’s work made its North American
debut at the Cranbrook Art Museum in mid-November, and metromode’s Tom
Hendrickson was there.
