To make his riverfront housing project, the Watermark, more attractive
to would-be buyers, Dave Bing has revised the floor plans lowering the
number of units thus making the remaining ones bigger.
Excerpt:
Bing said he has scrapped plans for the row of homes facing Atwater
because those failed to attract any buyers. But he has increased the
number of penthouse units in his nine-story tower and reduced the
number -- but increased the size -- of units in the low-rise marina
townhouses.
As a result, the Watermark would now feature 98 units instead of 112. But the units would be bigger, on average, than before.
