A new PBS science program focused on getting young people involved with
science is coming to Detroit to film at the Detroit Science Center and

The 30-minute investigative-based "Think Squad" will broadcast in May 2009 on PBS. Shooting is to begin early next year.
Auditions
for the show will be held from noon to 5 p.m. today at Youthville. The
show will also offer a Web site, DVDs and other materials for sale,
Josh Dawson, the science center's manager of presentations and
outreach, said.
Each episode will have the youths trying to
solve a problem . In the first show, a man asks the Think Squad to
determine if a rock that struck his house came from a meteor. Other
episodes will center around myth busting and experiments, Dawson said.
