District VII rolls out second ‘Odditorium’ happening
May 3-4, 8 p.m. – 2 a.m.
Where Ripleys meets Twilight Zone, and nature and science meet denial and disbelief. That’s District VII’s Odditorium Detroit, an event series of natural and unnatural disproportions.
Collections on display include this weekend: medical/surgical antiques, dental antiques, morgue related items, animal specimens in jars, mummified animal specimens, taxidermy, antique last rites sets, functioning behavior modification machine, ECT machine, polygraph machine, electrical marvels, voodoo arts, masks, mixed media displays. This exclusive two day exhibition features a myriad of art, displays, lectures and mores.
May 3-4 8 p.m.- 2 a.m. It’s $15 general admission and $25 for VIP. All ages welcome though discretion is advised due to nature of some displays.
