The National Football League (NFL) and The Map Network (TMN) unveiled today the preferred online and print maps of Super Bowl XL at http://www.SuperBowl.com and at http://www.VisitDetroit.com, the official site of the Detroit Metro Convention & Visitors Bureau.

The Super Bowl maps feature award-winning functionality and design created by The Map Network specifically for large events. The interactive version allows layers of event, venue and destination content to be turned on or off from more than 1,000 events and locations on the map. In just a couple clicks, a user can explore the Motown Winter Blast festival, the NFL Experience, and Rhythm Nation Detroit, all while keeping an eye, literally, on the best places to dine and party in Detroit. Two hundred fifty thousand (250,000) printed versions of the map will be available to ticket holders and attendees of Super Bowl activities, and can also be downloaded as PDFs from the online map.

“The Detroit Metro Convention & Visitors Bureau is proud to support the Super Bowl XL maps,” says Michael O’Callaghan, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at the Detroit Metro Convention & Visitors Bureau. “It will be a very useful tool for the out-of-town visitors to help them plan their trip and their itineraries once they arrive in Detroit. They will have all the information they need to navigate Ford Field and participate in all Super Bowl festivities in one easy-to-carry tool.”
