Posters from Create Detroit propaganda show available online

Prints of the 50 posters local artists designed for the Detroit
Graphics Expo soon will be available online. The propaganda posters all
bear positive messages about the city.

About
400 people filled the Fisher Building concourse Friday, Dec. 2, for the
show and auction, which raised $15,000 for Create Detroit, a nonprofit
that promotes Detroit’s creative people and businesses.

A limited quantity of signed and numbered posters will be available
on the group’s Web site, says Eric Cedo, executive director of Create
Detroit.

The organization plans to exhibit the posters around the state at
galleries and events. For more information, or to purchase a poster, go
to www.createdetroit.com.
