Guidebook to highlight People Mover-friendly businesses
The Detroit Transportation Corp., operator of the People Mover, and the Metro Times are putting together a new Downtown guidebook that will highlight businesses convenient to the train route.
Excerpts from the article:
The ‘People-Friendly Places’ booklet will contain useful information, maps and other features about Downtown Detroit that will be valuable to both regular Downtown aficionados and first-time visitors.
It will offer full- and half-page advertising by many businesses along the People Mover route, as well as other companies who recognize the value of our 2 million annual riders. Copies will be distributed in all 13 People Mover stations, as well as aboard the trains and in many participating retail establishments Downtown.
