Partnership says it generated $262 million in business investment in 2004-05
“The Detroit Regional Economic Partnership said it generated $262 million of investment through 24 new businesses and 38 business expansions,” says the article.
The growth was 26 percent ahead of the previous year and brought 1,915 jobs and purchasing power of more than $260 million to the region
“The new companies came from Germany, France, Spain, Canada, China, the United Kingdom and Denmark, as well as from within the U.S.,” reports Crain’s Detroit.
