Speakers:

Mahendra Ramsinghani joined the Invest Detroit team with over 12 years of experience in the areas of fostering the growth of early-stage technology and life sciences businesses, deal sourcing, due diligence, fundraising and portfolio management. He is experienced in identifying commercially viable businesses, managing investments and in building client/customer relationships that are critical for emerging businesses.

Brendan Calder is an Entrepreneur in Residence and an Adjunct Professor of Strategic Management at the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto. He conducts a popular MBA course called GettingItDone©. Prior to joining Rotman, he was an entrepreneur in the financial services field. He now is an active Angel Investor. Professor Calder serves on the boards of Coventree Inc., EllisDon Construction, FirstService Corporation and the Toronto Int’l Film FestivalGroup.
