Model D goes mobile: Detroit on the move
Model D's Speaker Series heads to Ann Arbor this Friday for our third IdeaLab collaboration with the University of Michigan's Ross School of Business. The first two years were awesome. We expect nothing less this time.

Here at Model D, we’re all about showcasing people and ideas moving Detroit forward. In January, we’ll take some of these stories on the road.
On Jan. 25, we return to Ann Arbor for our third annual “IdeaLab” — an afternoon of ideas presented by Detroit innovators. IdeaLab is the last session of Revitalization & Business, a 2-day conference hosted by the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business. The program takes place 2 to 4 p.m. in the Blau Auditorium at 701 Tappan Ave., Ann Arbor.
We had a great time the last two years (check out our recap and video from 2012), and this year promises to be equally awesome thanks to a stellar line-up of speakers, including:
- Tawnya Clark, The Batata Shop & FoodLab Detroit
- Matthew Clayson, Detroit Creative Corridor Center
- Andy Didorosi, Detroit Bus Company
- Elizabeth Garlow, MichiganCorps
- Eric Giles, Sunday Dinner Company
- Michael Forsyth, Revolve Detroit
- Jerry Paffendorf, LOVELAND Technologies
- Tunde Wey, Urban Innovation Exchange (UIX)
