May was a busy month for development news in Detroit. This will help catch you up.
Its services include onsite telephonic and video remote interpreting, document translation, website localization, language training, relocation services, and bilingual staffing for more than 150 languages.

From May 16-19, over 50 performances and events will take place along Hamtramck's borders with Detroit and Highland Park as a part of the Porous Borders Festival. "The idea is to make the border visible with art and activity that brings neighbors together," says organizer Liza Bielby.
Over $100,000 in improvements are planned for the park. Nearly half of that would come from this crowdfunding-matching grant hybrid. If the park can raise its goal of $25,000 via crowdfunding by June 1, the MEDC will contribute a $25,000 matching grant.
