Open City is a forum for Detroit’s aspiring and established small business owners to learn, network, and exchange information in a fun and lively atmosphere. On Monday, Nov. 17 at Cliff Bell’s in downtown Detroit, Open City will explore the power of community investing with the following panel participants:

Amy Haimerl – Crain’s Detroit Business (moderator)
Jeff Aronoff, D:hive, Sidewalk Ventures
Jay Rayford, Social Sushi Detroit
Melissa Butler, The Lip Bar

The panel discussion begins at 6:30 p.m. followed by a Q&A and casual networking. Get there early because your first drink is gratis. (Please note: The kitchen will be closed.)

Representatives from Michigan Women’s Foundation, Kiva Detroit, Patronicity, and 5/3 Bank will be on site to discuss funding options for small businesses.
