Mount Kimbie, Holy Other live pairing at Midtown’s Magic Stick

Mount Kimbie (pictured) and Holy Other are UK-based artists that create music that recombines dubstep, hip-hop, jazz, techno and ambient, post-rock, UK garage and film scores.
The two groups are minimal (Mount Kimbie is made up two members; Holy Other is a solo act) but can also expand their sound on recordings and in a live setting. The long overdue Detroit premieres of both is this Friday, June 7, at the Magic Stick (4120 Woodward in Midtown). Doors open at 8 p.m.Â
