Palmer Woods

Feb. 16, 8 p.m.

How often do you get the chance to hear the music of African American legends, Thelonious Monk, Dizzy Gillespie, Charlie Parker, Wes Montgomery, Joe Henderson, Jackie McLean and others in a gorgeous Detroit home?

The music will be performed by guitarist A. Spencer Barefield, bassist Dave Young, trumpeter Dwight Adams and percussionist Sean Dobbins at a concert this Saturday, Feb. 16, 8 p.m., in a private home in the historic Palmer Woods neighborhood. Dinner and refreshments will be served during intermission. That’s classy.

Tickets are $40 each or $35 for groups of 10 or more, and can be purchased here or by calling 313-891-2514. The address of the concert home in Palmer Woods is revealed when tickets are purchased.
