Tigers to hold drawing for Opening Day tickets against Toronto

The defending American League champion Detroit Tigers will have a random online drawing for tickets to the April 2 Opening Day game because of record-setting season-ticket sales and “overwhelming demand” for the April 2 Opening Day game.

because of record-setting season-ticket sales and “overwhelming demand”
for the April 2 Opening Day game.

Excerpt:

Fans must fill out and submit a registration form to be eligible for
the drawing, winners of which will be allowed to buy two Opening Day
tickets. The registration period begins at 9 a.m. Friday at
www.tigers.com, and ends at 11:59 p.m. March 11. Winners will be drawn
the week of March 12 and notified by e-mail no later than March 16.
