Renovation of Detroit Life Building awarded $750,000 tax credit

The State of Michigan approved a $750,000 tax credit towards the renovation of the Detroit Life Building on Park Avenue.

Karen Cullen, an Ilitch Holdings spokeswoman, said the first floor would be renovated for retail/commercial use while the upper nine floors will get used as office space. The project is expected to involve an investment of $7.5 million and create 250 jobs.
