If approved by City Council, Olympia Development would pay the city
$220,500 for the property, then invest $2 million or more of its own
money to redevelop it. The building is located at Cass and Grand River.
Olympia Development’s plans call for moving its own offices into the
structure. Karen Cullen, a spokeswoman for the Ilitch organization,
confirmed Monday that Olympia Development had received the city’s
notification that it had been selected.
