Downtown’s eating and drinking scene continues to heat up this summer.

Liquor license in hand, Motor City Wine will now have regular hours of 11:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday. The shop is located at 600 Woodward on the second floor. Read more about Motor City Wine here and watch a Model D video here.

The same license impacts Foran’s Deluxe Diner, located on the first floor of the same building. It’s now serving grub and drinks from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and proprietor Tim Tharp is looking to add breakfast hours soon. Read more about the restaurant here.

Rub BBQ & Pub has opened at 18 W. Adams. Pulled pork, beef brisket, suckling pig, St. Louis-style and baby-back ribs cooked over hickory, apple and cherry woods are on the menu, and the establishment has a carryout beer license.

Around the corner on Park Ave., Cliff Bells is serving Sunday brunch. Check out the menu here.
