Detroit Archdiocese concert at Blessed Sacrement Cathedral

And now for something completely different that promises to be exquisitely, unearthy beautiful. The Archdiocesan Chorus of Detroit, chamber orchestra and soloists present a concert of music for the first Sunday of Advent.

The program features:

• Telemann – Der Juengste Tag
• Bach – Wachet Auf (BWV 140)
• Gibbons – This is the Record of John
• Pachelbel – Magnificat in D
• Bruckner – Virga Jesse (sung by AOD Schola)

It’s on Sunday, Dec. 2, 3 p.m.at the Cathedral of the Most Blessed Sacrament, 9844 Woodward Ave., Detroit. Admission: $10.
