Cityscape to host restaurant crawl

Cityscape
Detroit is hosting a restaurant crawl on September 26 that will combine
visits to three of Detroit’s newest restaurants with information about
overall development plans in their neighborhoods. The tour will begin
at Midtown’s Twingos at 6 p.m., proceed to Currents located in the East
Riverfront area and end at Slow’s Bar-B-Que in Corktown.

Cityscape board member Shelly Charron points out that while they
hope to get people to try new restaurants, they also want participants
to get an “urban planning, community development perspective” on how
new businesses can contribute to the resurgence of a neighborhood.
