Yoga Suite stretches into Jos. Campau in Hamtramck

Between Edwin and Norwalk on Jos. Campau, Michelle Pearson has opened The Yoga Suite. “It worked out that I owned some property here, and decided it made sense,” she says. “This is something that I love — I’ve practiced for over 10 years and taught for four — and for the last three years I’ve wanted to open something.”

Initially, there are nine sessions a week. Pearson also teaches at the Grosse Pointe War Memorial and in the Indian Village area, with previous time put in at the Birmingham YMCA. She is in the process of developing yoga gear that she will sell at The Yoga Suite and online.
