The University of Detroit Mercy is adding three sports to its roster
for the 2008-09 season: men’s and women’s lacrosse and men’s tennis. It
will be the only Division I lacrosse offered in the state of Michigan.

multi-purpose turf field that will soon be completed on campus,
lacrosse seems like a sport where we can flourish.”
