LaSalle volunteers, donation help beautify Peck Park

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Volunteers from LaSalle Bank teamed up with members of the University Cultural Center Association to build a garden Oct. 15 in the corner of Peck Park.

LaSalle recently donated $10,000 to UCCA to develop the garden, just off Brush Street in the Art Center neighborhood in Midtown.

The new garden will consist of two new trees, along with other plant and rock materials. The project is part of the rejuvenation of the acre Peck Park. In the spring a new fountain is scheduled to finish the park.
