Another member of the Quicken Loans family of businesses is moving to downtown Detroit, bring another 115 workers with it.
Rock Connections is moving from Southfield to the Chase Building overlooking Campus Martius Park. The marketing firm launched last May with a little more than a dozen employees. Today it has a staff of 115 people, all of which work in the Chase Building now, and it plans to keep hiring.
"There is so much energy in the city," says Victor You, president & CEO of Rock Connections. "There is room to grow and more to do. That's what attracts young people and intellectual thinkers and people who want to be in a vibrant city."
You adds that Rock Connections has 15 job openings now and his company plans to hire 15-20 people per month for the foreseeable future. You hopes these new workers will become invested in Detroit and become part of the community.
