(PROOF) martini bar opens up Downtown

(PROOF), a martini lounge located at 2001 Woodward in the Fyfe Bldg, opened its doors recently Downtown.

The bar has a very clean and crisp interior design with an urban
feel. “It has a very modern, contemporary feel with natural woods,
granite and several huge windows,” says co-owner Jim Smith. Great views
of the Detroit skyline can be seen from within, allowing the urban
setting to overflow into the interior.

The bar shakes up several of its own specialty martinis. Some house
favorites are the Banana Split and Pineapple Upsidedown martinis, as
well as Smith’s own special recipe Chocolate martini. Also serves
American cuisine, tapas style.

Hours are from 4 p.m. to midnight Monday through Wednesday, 4 p.m.
to 2 a.m. on Thursday and Friday. On Saturday the opening time is event
specific with closing time at 2 a.m., and they are closed Sundays.
