CBC interviews Design 99 duo on the $100 house phenom

The interviews continue with Gina Reichert and Mitch Cope of Design 99 as CBC interviews them.Excerpt:Artist Gina Reichert and designer Mitch Cope weren't content to let that happen to the city where they live. They bought a foreclosed home for $1,900 US last year and turned it into both an experiment in operating off the power grid and a centre to link artists and the local community. Even though the city, and its auto industry, have been hit by hard times that threaten some venerable places, live music endures in the Motor City.Read the entire article here.
