Shop Detroit event Saturday; city offers parking discounts

The "Shop Detroit" message is being echoed by the city, the local NAACP, Independent Retailers Association, Booker T. Washington Business Association, Detroit Black Chamber of Commerce and Detroit Synergy.On Saturday, Dec. 2, Synergy will host its third Shop Detroit event from 10 am to 5 pm.
