Detroit Goodfellows and police raise $76,000 for children

A little over $76,000 was raised Monday, Nov. 28 by members of the Old Newsboys' Goodfellow Fund of Detroit and Detroit Police officers who sold newspapers throughout Detroit to raise money to buy Christmas gift packages for 36,000 Detroit-area children.
