Artist talk: ‘Notes on the New’ at MOCAD

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...
Scott Burton’s essay, “When Attitudes Become Form: Notes on the New,” served as the catalog introduction for Harald Szeeman’s 1969 exhibition, Live in Your Head: When Attitudes Become Form. DEPE Space resident artist Julia Klein’s small press recently re-published the essay as part of Scott Burton:Collected Writings on Art and Performance, 1965-1975 (edited by David J. Getsy), Klein’s talk is a verbal and visual annotation of this piece of writing as it relates to her own work.

This artist talk by Julia Klein is Thursday, March 14, 7 p.m. Free.
