Geoffrey LaRue — known to his friends and family as DJ Goffredo — has established himself as a connoisseur and practitioner of Italo disco, a dance music sub-genre that began in Italy in the early 1980s and caught the ears of young Detroit techno producers like Derrick May.
Goffredo joins Menergy residents Gay Marvine and Mike Trombley this Saturday, Nov. 10 at the Temple Bar, 2906 Cass Ave., Detroit.
