House panel approved a bill to lower taxes in Detroit, and thanks to this bill, property owners in a $200,000 home will save as much as $3000 a year.
A state House Committee unanimously approved reduction in property taxes from 67 mills to 52 mills, leading to substantial savings for residents and prevention of exodus.
