Wayne State University will spend nearly $4 million on capital projects on the university’s Detroit campus.

The board authorized the university to issue a request for bids and
award contracts for the rehabilitation of the elevators in seven
university buildings for a maximum cost of nearly $3.1 million….

The board also authorized the university to seek bids for the
renovation of a portion of the Rackham Memorial Building for a maximum
cost of $880,000.
