Organizers of Detroit's Winter Blast have been working to raise funds
to put on the annual festival again this year, and have announced that
the event will continue, despite the $1.1 million so far raised being
$200,000 less than last year's budget.

feel like we're going to make it," event producer
Jonathan Witz told The Associated Press.
"I can't speak to the future, but there will be one
this year. It's been tough the last two years,"
