According to the story:
A Detroit tech company’s 3D maps helped Super Bowl visitors find their
way. Now Virtualeyes’ amazingly detailed maps are planned to go up in other
cities — including Denver and next year’s SB host, Miami.
"We've come up with something that is truly unique," says Mike Medalia,
the founder and chief executive of the company. "The Super Bowl was a
real jump start for us. We're still getting a lot of really positive
comments."
The company’s map kiosks are found around town, or on the
Cybercitytours
Web site. There you can download a free program that enables a Web
browser to display a complex virtual reality experience of Detroit and
the suburbs of Ferndale, Royal Oak, Rochester, Birmingham and Pontiac.
