The sports world in Detroit is having heart palpitations right now.
The Red Wings have the most wins (tied with the Rangers) and points in
the NHL. The Pistons are in first place in their division. The Lions
might be falling down a well, but at least they've already won six
games this season. And the Tigers' acquisition of Dontrelle Willis and
Miguel Cabrera have transformed the team from good to great overnight,
without either having so much as donned the old English D yet.
