Detroit schools awarded $2.2M from Skillman

The Skillman Foundation has announced $2.2 million in grants to 77 Detroit schools as part of its "Good Schools: Making the Grade" initiative.

The winning schools each receive between $10,000 and $100,000 to use for student materials and equipment; professional development and training; parent and community involvement activities; and creating, expanding or improving programs.
