Toyota has donated the
Detroit Science Center
$2 million for the construction of an engineering theater, which is
part of its efforts to transform into the nation's premier
engineering-focused museum.

"As Michigan continues to move towards becoming a knowledge-based
economy, the enhancements to the Detroit Science Center will help
inspire young visitors to pursue careers in engineering and other
science-based fields," said Kevin Prihod, president and CEO of the
Detroit Science Center. "We're thrilled to have Toyota's support as we
work towards making the Science Center a science museum of national
stature."
