Exhibit tells Rosa Parks' story at the Detroit Historical Society

The Detroit Historical Society is hosting an exhibition on the Montgomery Bus Boycott and Rosa Parks put on by the Smithsonian Institution.

Excerpts from the article:
Called "381 Days: The Montgomery Bus Boycott Story," the exhibit narrates the story of a boycott that started a protest to end legally sanctioned segregation in America.

"Everyone needs to see this, especially the young," said Darnell McQueen, 43, of Davenport, Iowa, who was visiting the exhibit Thursday with his 14-year-old son.
