RiverDays draws crowds, kudos

The first annual RiverDays festival has been drawing crowds since it kicked off on Friday. And everyone seems to agree: it's great.

Johnnie Coole, a Detroit school teacher, sees the event as part of the downtown's rebirth.

"A lot of notoriety has happened down here, and I think it kind of keeps people away. This might be something that tends to bring people back," said Coole. "You've got all kinds of people here. It's the kind of thing that this city needs.
