Detroit sixth-graders learning calculus through Project SEED

Dan Mulligan, a math instructor at Pasteur Elementary School on Detroit's west side, is teaching sixth-grade students calculus.

According to the story:

Mulligan is the director for Project SEED, a national nonprofit that teaches advanced math in 29 Detroit public schools, 80% of which are classified as low-income.
