Leonard Cohen books Detroit show for the first time since '93

Leonard Cohen is coming back to Detroit and will play at the Fox for the first time since 1993.

Excerpt:

The concert will be the Canadian icon's first Detroit appearance since a State Theatre show in 1993. It's part of a U.S. run -- his first in 15 years -- that kicks off in April and follows a year of well-received international touring.

Cohen will be joined by an ensemble that includes longtime collaborator Sharon Robinson and young English duo the Webb Sisters.

Tickets for the Fox show will go on sale at 10 a.m. March 2. Seats are $45.50-$253. To combat scalping, buyers are limited to two seats per purchase, and will be required to show identification on show night to obtain the actual tickets.
