legislation that will start promoting historic property development in
the state of Michigan.

Historic preservation advocates on Friday hailed the passage of state
legislation that they said would promote historic property development
in Michigan.
In a news release, the Michigan Historic Preservation Network said
Senate Bill 973, sponsored by Cameron Brown, R-Fawn River Township, and
House Bill 6496, sponsored by Steve Tobocman, D-Detroit, will expand
the potential of historic restoration throughout Michigan.
