“This is obviously a major transformation of a public space that really
is outdated and also needs serious repair,” Jackson said of Hart Plaza.
“It will provide a public space that is much warmer and more inviting
and that we think will get more utilization. It will be a softer
surface, and it will blend in and complement the RiverWalk.”
